In Celtic tradition, Imbolc marks a quiet threshold between winter and spring — a time when returning light begins to stir what has been held beneath the surface. Associated with Brigid, guardian of hearth fire, healing waters, and creative skill, Imbolc invites a slower kind of attention: tending rather than rushing, care rather than completion.
Brigid’s Hearth is an evening gathering shaped in this spirit. Through ceremony, mythic storytelling, live music, reflection, and shared time together, we explore the wisdom of the Three Sisters — voice, hands, and presence — and what becomes possible when inspiration, skill, and care are no longer held alone, but woven together.
The evening will unfold gently and include:
A heart-opening cacao ceremony: to open the space, grounding us in warmth, presence, and the body
Mythic storytelling: inspired by Brigid and the Three Sisters, told in a fairy-tale tradition
Live music and sound: woven throughout the gathering by Elise Carver
Circle time and guided reflection: with space for listening and optional sharing
Social time: to connect, rest, and enjoy warmth together at the hearth
This is not a workshop or a performance, but a shared ceremonial space — slow, embodied, and relational. No prior knowledge of Celtic tradition, mythology, or ceremony is required. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Brigid’s Hearth is an invitation to pause at the seasonal threshold, to tend what is becoming, and to remember that voice, skill, and care are strongest when held in relationship.
Come to be warmed.
Come to listen.
Come to share the hearth.
